Introduction :

Bellows are the special form of a metal or fabric or rubber consisting many convolutes which are usually used in a mechanical system to provide stress relies. They also act as vibration absorber and shock absorb axial, lateral, angular, and tensional movements.They are individually designed to meet specific requirement and are easy to install, Handle and transport. Metal bellows can be designed for very high pressure and temperature by using selected material. The design and manufacturing of the individual expansion joint is done with reference to EJMA (Expansion joints Manufacturer’s Association of USA) and related ASME / ASTM Standards.

Construction :

Bellows are formed by roll forming process under the most exacting process.Control in specially designed and constructed machines from tubes formed from selected cold rolled sheet, which is longitudinally butt welded by significant life.Advantages, because of controlled work hardening during forming in stages and Permits no points of high stress concentration. Non-ferrous Bellows are formed from specified Brass and Phosphor Bronze Pipe or sheet, drawn by hydraulically and rolled by special designed method, which are totally seamless, single ply or multi-ply whichever is required.

• Thickness of ply : 0.15mm minimum for single ply contraction.
